Erik the Librarian

Brent Forrester (one of the writers for The Office) has created a new web series called "Erik the Librarian." Four words: BEST LIBRARIAN SERIES EVER! Ok so there's no other librarian series in existence (at least in the U.S.), but it's still pretty funny. Check out the thrid episode in the series below, and make sure and check out the first two also!

The Series is one of the first from 60 Frames, which is teaming with several writers to bring original short shows to the Internet.

John J. Beckley

Poor 'ol J.J. Beckley seems to be getting hardly any votes on the librarian superhero survey :-(

Maybe it's just a simple matter of no one knowing who he is...or maybe it's just a matter of them not caring who he is. Either way, here's a link to his wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_J._Beckley

And while you are on his wiki page, feel free to add a comment or two on his page that may or may not be true. Apparently simply being the first librarian of LOC isn't good enough, so maybe we need to sex him up a bit? Talk about the famous duel between Beckley and Dewey, talk about how he was accused of raping horses, or talk about the new Dan Brown novel that shows the questionable secret side of his life.
