April Fools!

I've been a fan of Google's April 1 jokes for quite sometime, but I must admit this years prank was lacking. Chrome in 3D is funny, but I have to admit the pranks from The Guardian and The Pirate Bay were far better.

In case you haven't heard, Pirate Bay was acquired by Warner Bros. The best April Fools pranks are the ones that seem so true they making you actually think it's a possibility. Such was the case with this bogus prank.

The best prank, however, was The Guardian, who announced that they will be entirely published via Twitter post! Sadly, I think they just might be on to a trend, and I could actually see a newspaper doing this in a few years.

Is This the Beginning of the End?

Readers of this blog will know that I believe Microsoft is on a downward spiral, and desperately needs to sex things up (note to read: while I do have an Apple computer, my primary computer is a PC...so I really am hoping for them to get better.) Need more proof? The picture below is something my wife (also a Microsoft hater...she's embarrassed when she has to tell her cool friends that she owns Windows OS and not Leopard); it's a picture of an Apple computer being used to give a PowerPoint Presentation at a Microsoft conference! So it's so bad even Microsoft employees don't use their own products!

Can anyone save this company?

I expect this sort of thing from American's, but Australians? Has good old fashion American stupidity gone global or something? And what's up with the fine?! Arrest the guy...if it's not a crime in Austrialia to put the protection of beer over the protection of children it should be!

And if that story isn't weird enough for you...did you hear about the man sueing JetBlue because he was forced to sit on the toilet seat for part of his flight! Now that's customer service!
